Angilock®

Losartan Potassium
Angiotensin Receptor Blocker (Cardiovascular Preparations)

Indication: 
Angilock® is indicated in the treatment of all grades of hypertension and heart failure. Moreover it is indicated in hypertensive patients with type II diabetes and will delay the progression of renal diseases.

Dosage & Administration:
The usual starting and maintenance dose of Angilock® is 50 mg once daily for most patients. Some patients may receive an additional benefit by increasing the dose to Angilock® 100 mg once daily. In patients who are salt depleted corrective measures should be used before starting Angilock® and the initial dose should be reduced to 25 mg.

Preparation: 
Angilock® 25 : Box containing 50 tablets in blister pack. 
Angilock® 50 : Box containing 50 tablets in blister pack. Angilock® 100 : Box containing 30 tablets in blister pack.

Angilock® plus

Losartan Potassium + Hydrochlorthiazide
AT1 receptor blocker combination (Cardiovascular Preparations)

Indication: 
Angilock® Plus is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It is also indicated to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension and left ventricular hypertrophy

Dosage & Administration:

The usual starting dose is Angilock® Plus 50/12.5 one tablet once daily. More than two tablets of Angilock® Plus 50/12.5 or one tablet of Angilock® Plus 100/25 once daily is not recommended. Patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with losartan or hydrochlorothiazide monotherapy, may be switched to Angilock® Plus 50/12.5 once daily. If blood pressure remains uncontrolled after about three weeks of therapy, the dose may be increased to one tablet of Angilock® Plus 100/12.5 or two tablets of Angilock® Plus 50/12.5 or one Angilock® Plus 100/25 once daily.
